  • U’chin is a Macham Naga warrior in his early 80s living in Myanmar. Around 1956, he journeyed on foot for 3 days to the East and captured a human head from Heimi Naga enemies. For this feat of bravery, he was tattooed by a female tattooist along with his comrades who acquired the body parts of the victim. A special ceremony was held to cleanse the blood of the victim from their bodies, which was believed to be polluting.
